Blockchain enthusiasts in Lusaka, the capital city of Zambia, are growing anxious as they anticipate the blockchain summit that will be held by the United Africa Blockchain Association (UABA) on November 28–30, 2022, under the direction of its chairwoman, Mrs. Yaliwe Soko of South Africa. The Lusaka International City Centre (LICC), located on Ngwerere Road in Bonanza Estate, Lusaka, Zambia, 10110, will host the summit.
The Summit aims to bring together an audience of approximately 1200–1500 people from various countries, including government representatives, regulators, investors, decision-makers, and so forth, in order to provide a forum for opportunities, partnerships, networking and educating attendees on the benefits of blockchain for businesses and industries. The part it plays in determining how Africa and the rest of the world will develop.
It’s important to note that building the unified environment required to ensure investment and financing in order to reduce the digital infrastructure gap on the continent is one of the particular goals of Africa’s Digital Transformation Strategy.
