This week, the Africa Blockchain Institute achieved another significant step as they organized the second DEMO Day, titled: Africa Blockchain Incubation Program, on June 30, 2022, in Kigali, Rwanda.
The Institution has already assisted various businesses within Africa, particularly in Rwanda, Zimbabwe, and Egypt, with the aid of its partners like MAKER DAO, NEAR PROTOCOL, and other local partners in Rwanda. The Institution’s major goal is to expand digital technology across 54 nations in Africa.
People and organizations who benefited from its four-month training program shared their success stories and inspired others to participate in the new Blockchain technology, which is being adopted by industries like real estate, insurance, education, and land title.
Mr. Kayode Babarinde, CEO of the African Blockchain Institute, has accomplished extraordinary things by bringing Blockchain technology to some parts of the African Community and encouraging startups to take advantage of it.
The DEMO Day had participants from Zimbabwe, Cameroon, Nigeria, Zambia, Egypt, India, UK, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Burundi and Malawi who participated either virtually or physically to make the day a success.
Other promoters of Blockchain technology in Kigali and Africa, such as Brighter Digital Business Group, were also present to support the initiative.
